Windows-first dental dictation
Anthias is a floating-button desktop app for dentists and clinicians. Record chairside dictation, transcribe locally, optionally draft structured notes with AI assistance, then copy the result into your practice management system.
Anthias supports documentation. It does not diagnose, recommend treatment, or replace clinician review.
Example drafted note
RFA: Review tooth 36 discomfort
I/O: Existing restoration noted. Occlusion checked.
Tx: Adjusted high spot. Advised review if symptoms persist.
NV: Routine recall or earlier if required.
How it works
Use the floating Windows button to capture chairside dictation or a consultation summary.
Speech is converted to text on the computer. Raw transcription mode can run without AI drafting.
When AI drafting is enabled, text can be sent through the Anthias backend to produce structured clinical notes.
The output is copied to the clipboard so the clinician can paste, review, edit, and save it in the PMS.
Privacy and local transcription
Anthias is being built for clinics that want practical dictation support without changing where final records live. Audio is not stored by default, transcription happens locally, and AI drafting is optional.
Local transcription: Audio is processed on the Windows computer for transcription.
Optional AI drafting: If enabled, text may be sent to the Anthias backend for AI-assisted formatting.
Clipboard-first: Anthias prepares text for paste-in workflows. It does not directly save notes into a PMS.
No default audio storage: The app is intended to avoid storing recordings unless a clinic chooses otherwise.
Early access
Pricing is not live yet. Early access is for clinicians who want to trial the workflow, give feedback, and help shape clinic glossary and template support.
Windows desktop app, local transcription, optional AI-assisted drafting, clipboard output, and setup guidance.
FAQ
No. Anthias assists with transcription and drafting only. Diagnosis, treatment planning, consent, review, editing, and final record keeping remain the clinician's responsibility.
No. The current workflow is clipboard-first. Anthias copies drafted text so clinicians can paste it into their existing practice management system.
Transcription happens locally on the Windows computer. AI drafting may use the Anthias backend if that option is enabled.
Audio is not stored by default. The intended workflow is to process the recording and provide text output without retaining the recording.
The live backend at api.anthias.com.au is intended for licences, app updates, accounts, billing, shared glossary and template support, and AI proxying when enabled.
Responsible use
Anthias is a documentation aid. It may produce incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable wording and must be reviewed and edited by the treating clinician before being saved. Anthias does not provide diagnosis, treatment recommendations, medical or dental advice, or autonomous clinical record creation.
